E-Commerce Support Assistant

Wat ga je doen?

As an E-Commerce Support Assistant, you will support the E-Commerce department in the widest sense of the word. Together with the E-Commerce Coordinator, you are responsible for the operation and optimisation of our activities on various Marketplaces and our customers’ online channels. You are not satisfied until all our customers are satisfied, so you will do everything in your power to make this happen.  In this position, you are at the start of a new department within Edelman and the implementation of our strategy on E-Commerce and Marketplaces. Strengthening our presence on international online marketplaces like Bol, Amazon and Maison du Monde and unburdening our customers online is your main goal. In this position, you will report to the Team Leader E-Commerce.

What will you do?

• You will be responsible for second-line customer service enquiries (via email).
• Administrative processing of customer queries
• Liaise with various colleagues and departments to resolve customer queries
• Liaise with distribution centres on orders and returns
• Supporting the E-Commerce Coordinator in listing articles on the Marketplaces
• Ensuring the quality of our assortment online
• Supporting the E-Commerce department responsible for the implementation of our strategy in the field of E-Commerce and Marketplaces
• You follow trends and developments in the field of e-commerce and you are responsible for professionalising the cooperation with retailers and ensuring consumer satisfaction
• You give administrative and commercial support to the E-Commerce department in the widest sense of the word

Wat vragen wij?

• You have a completed intermediate vocational education and several years of commercial and/or customer support experience
• An excellent command of the Dutch and English languages
• Experience in a customer-facing environment
• Knowledge of E-Commerce processes and/or marketplaces
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and you can work with it fluently and independently
• You are result-oriented and someone who likes to take the initiative!
